The Investigator ProPic™ Robotic Workstation automates the excision of up to 120 spots per hour in one unattended run. Spots can be picked from SYPRO™ Ruby, Coomassie™ Blue or Silver stained gels. The fully light tight enclosure with interchangeable UV light source enables imaging of fluorescent stained gels via CCD-based imaging technology.Investigator HT PC Analyzer Software allows you to select the spots to be picked through powerful data queries.
You can generate a pick list automatically or by point and click methods.
Tip diameter is optimized for maximum protein recovery in gel plugs of 1.2 mm or 2.0 mm size. Picking tip is washed using buffer and can also be sonicated to eliminate cross contamination.
The gel plugs are placed in specially designed processing plates that can be used in the Investigator ProGest or ProPrep for automated protein digestion.
