PhytoTechnology Laboratories manufactures and distributes products to the plant tissue culture, plant biotechnology, and plant science markets. Their products are used to mass propagate plants on sterile culture media in laboratory settings. They also supply products for the genetic improvement of plants through gene transformation research.

Manufacturing, product development, administration and distribution of products are all performed at the PhytoTechnology Laboratories' new 18,000 square foot facility in Lenexa, Kansas, a suburb of the Kansas City metro area.

Polyplus-transfection is focused on developing reagents for intracellular delivery of biomolecules. Its expertise includes in vitro and in vivo delivery of genes, oligonucleotides, siRNA and proteins.

SCHOTT Nexterion

SCHOTT Nexterion, a leading supplier of microarray solutions for all DNA and protein microarray applications, was established as a new unit by SCHOTT in 2002 as part of its operations expansion in the biochip market.

SCHOTT Nexterion uses two different types of glass for microarray substrates that are produced in the microscope slide format. Both glass types are borosilicate glasses that offer you high chemical resistance, low auto-fluorescence, and an excellent flatness. All slides are laser-cut to reduce the risk of surface contamination.

It is SCHOTT Nexterion's goal to assure that you are provided with the best microarray consumables to ensure reliable and reproducible scientific experiments. For this reason, all SCHOTT Nexterion products must fulfill extremely high quality and uniformity requirements. Stringent control over all process steps from initial glass production through the final packaging is being maintained.
