Mr Lee Kok Choy co-founded BST Scientific Pte Ltd and served as its Operations Manager until 2002.
Mr Lee was born and raised in Malaysia. He obtained his Bachelor of Science with Honours (Microbiology) from National University of Singapore in 1994.
Prior to the formation of BST Scientific, Mr Lee was involved in the cargo operations of Singapore Airlines. His intimate knowledge of the industry was invaluable to the future success of the BST Scientific in the distribution business in Singapore.
In 1998, Mr Lee co-founded BST Scientific with Mr Francis Yap, and work together as a two man operation in the very early years of the company. As the company grew, more opportunitues were opened up in the life science industry and that propelled him into his current role.
In 2002, Mr Lee was tasked to spearhead BST's expansion into the area of life-science research manufacturing. This venture was subsequently spinned off from BST Scientific to become 1st BASE Pte Ltd.
He was appointed the CEO of 1st BASE and is now actively involved in the expansion of it's products and services in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr Lee remains a Director in BST Scientific and provide valuable experience and service in the back-end operations of the company.E-mail Kok Choy
